Exploring Sydney

After countless hours of anticipation spent mainly in an airplane and airport I finally arrived in Australia, and it wasn’t long before I started seeing famous sites like the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour (pronounced har-bar by the locals).  However one of the most exciting sites to see and probably the most relaxing was the famous Bondi Beach.  On our free day in Sydney, a group of us revisited the beach since one trip just wasn’t enough.  Despite our bus almost getting into two accidents and the group obtaining some wicked sunburns, we all made it back in one piece.  Sydney itself has been an adventure of a lifetime highlighted by fireworks in Daarling Harbour, the show Blaze in the Opera House, the Blue Mountains, and most importantly good food and good company.  Tomorrow we explore Melbourne.
