The aborigines are a unique group of people that cherish the land and the traditions they have passed on from generation to generation. Before being able to see the aborigines in person, my initial views were based off films like Australia and Rabbit Proof Fence where aborigines were depicted. These films did an accurate job showing the physical traits and some of the culture of aborigine. However it wasn’t until our visit to the aborigine park that we got to experience how they express their culture and tradition through song and dance. Using the didgeridoo, customary garb, and traditional dance I learned about the aborigine connection with the harsh land of Australia that allowed them to survive in one of the harshest continents on planet earth.
