Day Seven: Friday, January 11th
Today was the students day to go back and visit any part of Sydney they wanted to spend more time at or to visit places they had yet to see.
Some of the students went to the Tarango Zoo, while others went to museums or walked across the Sydney Bridge (among many other things)!
We are off to Melbourne in the morning.
Day Six: Thursday, January 10th
Today we travelled up to The Blue Mountains. The day was full of breathtaking views.
Day Five: Wednesday, January 9th
Today we started our day off with a tour of Fox Studios. We found it very interesting to see the stages that movies such as Wolverine and The Great Gastpy were recently shot.
Following our Fox tour, a group of us hiked the Manly Beach Scenic Walkway (6.4 miles). It had some gorgeous views and a lot of steps.
The other group continued on to Manly Beach to enjoy a relaxing day.
Day Four: Tuesday, January 8th
Today we took a tour around Hyde Park. We visited many sites including Hyde Park Barracks Botanical Gardens and MacQueries Point.

Later in the evening, we all went to The Opera House for The Dance Spectacular “Blaze”. It was a fun, interactive show that got us all on our feet dancing and waving our arms with the music.

Day Three: Monday, January 7th
Today we had a leisurely day at Bondi Beach before meeting with the FlickerFest coordinator. It was a great day to take in the sights of Bondi Beach, spending time exploring the area and relaxing to the sounds of the ocean.
Day Two: Sunday, January 6th
We all woke up extremely refreshed and ready to explore Sydney. We started the day with a Rocks Tour, which covers the Rocks district of Sydney and its history. We were able to learn a lot about the city and see places of the city we had yet to adventure into.
After the Rocks tour we went on a tour of The Opera House:
We even held class on The Opera House steps:
Day One: Saturday January 5th
We arrived Saturday, January 5th in the morning and it has been a whirlwind of events since then. After checking into the hotel and getting refreshed, our adventure began with our Sydney Harbour Cruise.
After the cruise, some of the students walked over to Darling Harbour. We were able to walk around the Harbour, take in some shopping, views and restaurants (and we can’t forget the giant rubber ducky which is there for the celebration of Australia Day).
It was an amazing day one. We were all tired after a really long day but the beauty of Sydney, Australia was better than we could have imagined. We are looking forward to the rest of our travels and everything we have to see and learn from this experience!
